Pair of Antique Booths Silicon China Dinner Plates, England c. 1895–1910
1/10

Crafted in England in the late Victorian to early Edwardian period, measuring 10.5 inches in diameter, these plates feature a graceful pink floral garland encircling the rim, set against a deep green band with a fine gilt edge — a classic and restrained decorative style of the era.

Marked Booths Silicon China – England, these plates were produced using Booths’ vitrified ceramic body, prized at the time for its strength and refined finish. The wide white wells and delicate hand-applied decoration reflect the quality and elegance intended for formal table settings at the turn of the 20th century. A lovely matched pair for an antique table setting, cabinet display, or to complement an existing Booths service.

Both plates show light, age-related glaze crazing, visible on close inspection and consistent with authentic antique production. This does not detract from their display appeal and is typical of well-preserved English china of this age.
